Session Information: Emotional intelligence within an Executive MBA Program.
Key Concepts:Emphasis will be given to the four branches of the MSCEIT instrument. |
As a doctoral student deciding on a research topic for my dissertation, I realized that the subject population I used must be currently operating in real life and impacting measurable results in high visibility jobs. It then became clear to me that I needed experienced adults as subjects. The Executive MBA program at my university (University of Connecticut), was my choice. I administered Three instruments to this population of over 50 men and women. These included the MSCEIT, the Gender Role Conflict Scale (GRSC), and the social desirability scale. I will be analyzing these results next month, and finishing my dissertation this spring.
