The leadership role of a manager has changed drastically. The following are critical to an organization and its managers:
- Identifying high performance and transformational characteristics
- Expanding traditional management practices.

- Emotionally intelligent
- A Self-manager.
Sustainable change can be developed. Delegates will discuss techniques to improve self-leadership and explore:
- The involvement of the supervisor
- Development plans
- Regular feedback, and
- How a buddy system can sustain results.
The emphasis of this session will be on techniques to develop self-management, and not on research. Delegates will examine the effects of the past on subconscious and amygdala, and thus success; effect of emotions / mood of a leader on team members, results of company and on own health; techniques to develop self-leadership.
