Laura Mari i Barrajón is a management consultant, trainer and coach to international private as well as public organizations. She holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Barcelona and a Masters degree in International Human Resources from EADA (Escuela de alta dirección y administración). Laura is member of the Spanish coaching association and Essy Systems certified practitioner for the use of the EQ Map.
Laura is regarded within the Spanish business community as a leading expert in the assessment and development of Emotional Intelligence in the workplace. She operates her own private management consultancy firm “Inteligencia Emocional Interpersonal”, and provides strategic solutions to a large group of clients. She serves as a consultant to some of the largest multinational companies operating in Spain, such as, Danone, Pepsico, Unilever, Amgen, Mahou-San Miguel, American Express, etc. Laura works with a large network of consultants both within, as well as, outside Spain to provide the best solution to her clients.
Laura is an expert at developing programmes that focus on the acquisition of emotional intelligence through experience. As part of her teaching technique, she works with a select group of professionally trained actors and actresses in order to train her clients to acquire emotional competencies. She is also regarded by her peers as one of the leading experts in employing various types of outdoor training facilities to develop different behavioural skills.
Laura frequently writes about leadership, training, experiential methodologies in the leading business magazines in Spain. At present, she is working in collaboration with a psychological therapy institute in Barcelona to asses' people suffering from depression doing job orientation and also as a volunteer to coach young people with behavioural difficulties.
