Martin Seligman, Ph.D.An advocate of wellness and optimism, Martin E.P. Seligman, Ph.D., is Kogod Professor of Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. He is the author of Learned Optimism, What You Can Change... and What You Can't, and The Optimistic Child, as well as several other books on motivation, personality, and mental health. Dr. Seligman is the Past President of the American Psychological Association. Throughout his career, he has done extensive research in partnership with The National Institute of Mental Health, The National Institute on Aging, The Guggenheim Foundation, and the MacArtuhur Foundation. |
