Ann McCormick, Ph.D. President, LearningFriends.com Ann is a pioneer in educational software development and expanding the role and purpose of computers as part of education. Ann H. McCormick began her career teaching in poverty area schools. She earned a doctorate at the UC, Berkeley in education, has lectured at universities including Harvard, Stanford and the University of California. Ann conducted research on teaching and learning nationwide before founding the Learning Company, a leading children's educational software company. Ann now consults to web companies (StageCast, KidSource, Gravity, Knowledge Navigators, GlobaLearn), and is seeking funding for her new venture, LearningFriends.com, which will provide comprehensive learning on-line for all children. Ann is a certified Six Seconds trainer and works closeley with the organization.
