Howard Martin

Executive Vice President, HeartMath® LLC

Howard Martin has been instrumental in developing and teaching HeartMath's practical programs in mental and emotional balance and personal efficiency. He speaks nationwide on developing new intelligence needed to navigate life during changing times. He is an author, business executive, musician, speaker and trainer.

He is co-author, along with HeartMath's founder Doc Childre, of The HeartMath Solution, published in 1999 by HarperSanFrancisco (a division of Harper Collins Publishing). He has been with HeartMath since its inception in 1991 and is a key spokesperson, conducting approximately 50 to 100 media interviews annually.

Howard has conducted training programs in numerous government agencies, all four branches of the U.S. military, school systems and ecumenical organizations of all kinds. Howard brings compelling information, motivation and plenty of wit and humor to his presentations.

Howard was also a noted professional drummer during the seventies who recorded and toured with numerous Rock and R&B groups.

In 1992, he used his musical talent to co-produce Doc Childre's award-winning recording, Heart Zones, which spent 50 consecutive weeks on Billboard Magazine's music charts. After his years in the music business and prior to his coming to HeartMath he had a successful business career as an Account Executive with E.F. Hutton and as Vice President, Capital Funding.
