Joshua FreedmanJoshua Freedman is an educator, author, and manager. As Director of Programs and Products for Six Seconds, he works internationally with trainers and researchers helping to develop programs for emotional intelligence in schools, communities, and organizations. Josh is the Editor of EQ TODAY, and a news journal for educators on practical applications of emotional intelligence; in this role he has been priviledged to interview and write with many of the leading authorities in the field of emotional education and emotional development. He is also coauthor of the Handle With Care EQ Activity series and Self-Science Curricula series for emotional intelligence. Josh provides strategic planning in developing educational programs in London, Singapore, South Africa, and the States. He works with Six Seconds Network Offices, trainers, and ally organizations in organizational, curriculum, and parternship design to build institutions that reflect the core principles of emotional intelligence. As a member of a groundbreaking organization that holds a world-leadership role in this new field, Josh is constantly working with and learning from exceptional educators and leaders. |

Josh brings his ecclectic background into his work -- he is a designer, a licensed contractor, a photographer, and a middle school teacher. He holds a BA summa cum laude from the World Arts and Cultures Program at UCLA, where he specialized in cross cultural communication and representation. He is enrolled as a Ph.D. student in the California Coast University. Josh's most significant achievements are his relationships to his family, wife, and his new baby daughter. |
